Discovering the Happiness within

Thought Leadership Workshop, Discovering The Happiness Within”, Jun 3, 2013.  Gurgaonites spent an evening “Discovering – The Happiness Within” in a Heart Warming chat with Rishi Nityapragya at The Thought Leadership Talk organized by the city’s Citizen Initiative, Gurgaon First.  The evening programme, attended by over 250 citizens of Gurgaon, was held at the Artemis Hospital.

Rishi Nityapragya is a senior faculty of the Art of Living. Under the guidance of His Holiness Sri Sri Ravishankar, Rishi Ji has dedicated his life to bringing peace and smiles to thousands of people across the world. He has traveled to over many countries, and has addressed people from many walks of life. He has also addressed many seminars to UN and WHO forums.

Speaking on the occasion, Rishiji said, “Happiness lies deep within. It can be impacted by our external environment. However, it is within an individual’s control to “choose” to remain happy in any situation. Breath is an important tool to flush out negative thoughts and feelings from the mind”. He also talked about how ego often does not allow us to remain happy and how greater understanding of the ego can help in improving relations.

The Event also applauded and recognized contributions of a few exemplary citizens of Gurgaon who have made a significant difference to the city. In the latter part of the programme, participants asked profound questions to Rishiji and found satisfactory answers. The evening was concluded with melodious Bhajans by Rishiji.
