A directive has been issued by the Municipal Corporation of Gurugram (MCG) chief to ensure regular waste
collection in the city. He has urged officials to address complaints promptly and take necessary action to lift
waste regularly. He stressed the need for efficient waste management to prevent the spread of diseases and
maintain the city’s hygiene standards. Meanwhile, MCG has also empanelled 15 private agencies to give
technical help to bulk waste generators (BWGs) (condominiums, residential complexes, hotels etc producing
50kg and more waste) for managing their waste.
