The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) has announced a significant revision to the
proposed Delhi-Gurgaon-Dharuhera Rapid Rail Transit System (RRTS) corridor. The plan now incorporates an
underground interchange station at Hero Honda Chowk, Gurgaon. This underground station is part of the larger
plan to enhance connectivity in the region. The NCRTC has requested approximately 5,864 square metres of
land in Gurgaon for the development of the RRTS corridor. The revised route commences at Sarai Kale Khan in
Delhi and traverses through Jor Bagh and Munirka before reaching Aero City near IGI Airport. Upon entering
Gurgaon, the corridor follows NH-8 and features underground stations at key locations like Cyber Hub, IFFCO
Chowk, Rajiv Chowk, Hero Honda Chowk, and Kherki Daula, before culminating at Dharuhera.
