The session was led by sustainability experts Ms. Sangeeta Nayyar and Ms. Shubhra Puri, who engaged with the students on critical themes such as waste management, water conservation, sustainable mobility, air quality, and the importance of plantation. The two-hour programme aimed to build awareness and encourage young minds to adopt eco-friendly practices in their daily lives.
To reinforce the learning, the workshop concluded with a lively quiz competition, which saw enthusiastic participation and strong responses from students. The event also witnessed the presence of teachers and senior management of the school, who appreciated the initiative.
CCA School shared with the GFF team its own sustainability measures, including steps taken to become paper- and plastic-free and its ongoing green drives within the campus.The training was addressed by Principal, Mrs Nirmal Yadav and chairman of the school, Col Kr Pratap Singh.
Speaking on the occasion, the organisers emphasised the importance of sensitising youth towards sustainable practices, as they are the torchbearers of a greener tomorrow.
