Functioning as miniature city administrations, RWAs oversee essential services such as waste management, water
infrastructure, street lighting, roads, parks, and neighborhood security. Beyond infrastructure, RWAs play a pivotal
role in nurturing the socio-cultural and welfare fabric of their communities.
Gurgaon is home to a strong network of over 400 RWAs, each making a unique contribution to the city’s growth and vibrancy. RWAs may be registered either as Societies or Owners Associations, based on the nature of their colony or housing setup:
