Gurgaon First Foundation Conducts Sustainability Training Workshop at Shiv Nadar School
The first of a series of Sustainable Development Training programme was conducted successfully on August 2, 2025 , bringing together over 60 students and teachers from Shiv Nadar School, Satya School, and Suncity School. Organised by Gurgaon First Foundation in collaboration with M3M Foundation and Shiv Nadar School, the half-day training aimed to foster awareness, capacity, and commitment to sustainability among school-going youth. The training featured expert-led sessions on crucial themes including:

  • Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
  • Waste Management and Recycling
  • Water Sustainability and Conservation
  • Clean Transport and Non-Motorised Mobility
  • Renewable Energy and Solar Solutions

In addition to the knowledge sessions, the event included interactive games, quizzes, and a motivational talk by a changemaker, adding a layer of inspiration and engagement for the young participants. All attendees received certificates of participation, marking their first steps toward becoming responsible and environmentally conscious citizens.

The speakers of the training were Rajat Batra, Bhawani Shanker Tripathi, Sangeeta Nayyar, Piyush Kumar, Nidhi Dandona and Gautam Malik. The training was followed by a quiz, distribution of certificates and note of thanks.

This initiative is part of an ongoing programme to embed sustainable thinking in school education, and to equip the next generation with the tools and understanding needed to address today’s environmental challenges.
