Function: Industrial and Infrastructure Development
The Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (HSIIDC) was established in 1967 with the objective of developing industrial infrastructure and promoting industrial growth across the state. Functioning under the Department of Industries and Commerce, Government of Haryana, the corporation plays a crucial role in facilitating planned industrial expansion. HSIIDC is responsible for creating and managing industrial estates, Industrial Model Townships (IMTs), cluster parks, and other key infrastructure assets. As of now, 36 IMTs have been developed across Haryana, including major ones near Gurgaon such as IMT Manesar and IMT Sohna, which are instrumental in attracting investment and generating employment. The corporation provides end-to-end support for industrial development, including land allotment, infrastructure provisioning, and facilitation of clearances for enterprises.
