From Awareness to Action: Interschool Earth Day Competition Inspires Young Change-Makers

Gurugram, April 22, 2026:

The spirit of environmental responsibility came alive as students from across the city gathered to participate in the Earth Day Interschool. Held on April 22, the event went beyond a conventional contest, evolving into a vibrant celebration of ideas, innovation, and commitment toward a sustainable future.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from 25+ schools and 250+ students, each bringing forward thoughtful perspectives and creative solutions aligned with the theme of Earth Day. Organizers expressed heartfelt appreciation to all participating institutions for their energy and involvement, with a special mention of CD International School, Sector 70, for showcasing exceptional talent and impactful performances.

The successful execution of the event was made possible through the collaborative efforts of several partners and organizations. Anchal Kaushik from Guided Fortune Samiti played a pivotal role in organizing the competition, while Axis Max Life Insurance extended valuable support. The initiative was further strengthened by The CSR Universe as the Media Partner, 3RZW Environment Foundation as the Zero Waste Partner, The Garden Store as the Landscaping Partner, Thriving Aspirers as the Knowledge Partners and environmental stewardship support from Gurgaon First Foundation and Aravalli Bachao Citizen Movement.

The occasion was graced by esteemed dignitaries, including District Education Officer, Gurugram, Capt. Indu Boken, and Ms. Neelam Chhabra, CSR and Admin AVP at Axis Max Life Insurance, who encouraged students and appreciated their efforts. The organizers also extended gratitude to the panel of judges for their commitment to maintaining fairness and high standards throughout the competitions. 

The competition featured multiple categories, each highlighting the creativity, knowledge, and oratory skills of the participants. The results are as follows:
