The 2016 Annual RWA Conclave, themed “Towards Citizen Involvement in Gurgaon’s Development.” RWA leaders from across Gurgaon gathered to share best practices, engage with MCG and GMDA officials, and develop collective advocacy on roads, water, waste, electricity, and green spaces. Urban planning, public transport, technology, and citizen advocacy experts explored integrated mobility — connecting metro, buses, cycling, walking, and shared mobility. Official book launch of the Gurugram Handbook on Waste Management — Gurugram’s first publication under the Swachh Bharat Mission, developed in collaboration with central and state government. The handbook covered the full solid waste management lifecycle: segregation, collection, processing, and disposal. A reference document for MCG, RWAs, and schools across the district.
