Sustainability Training workshop at the Knowledge Habitat School
A sustainability training workshop was organised for the middle school students of The Knowledge Habitat School, Sector 57, Gurugram on 22nd January 2026 to build awareness of environmental challenges and encourage sustainable lifestyles.
The workshop featured expert-led sessions on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), waste management and recycling, water conservation, clean transport and mobility, and renewable energy. The programme combined interactive quizzes and hands-on activities with Gurugram-specific case studies and inspiring talks by sustainability changemakers, enabling students to relate global environmental issues to their local context.
Participating students demonstrated a stronger appreciation of the link between global goals and local action, and many pledged to adopt sustainable practices in their daily lives, including waste segregation, reducing single-use plastics, and conserving water and energy.
